![]() Bradley Nowell’s endearing singsong was far from captured, something that made Sublime pleasant, even if he was singing about being a wasted and cheating loser. I enjoyed singing “Badfish,” “5446 That’s My Number” and “What I Got,” along with the other Sublime fans, but something was missing in Scott’s voice. ![]() I have never been secretive about my Sublime fan status I witnessed many great ’90s radio-staple bands as a teenager, but never got the chance to see Sublime, so this show was a tempting pick. Along with many other covers throughout the evening, including Bob Marley’s “No Woman No Cry,” the Cars’ “Just What I needed,” and of course, “Rivers of Babylon.” was midway through an ultra-jammy version of “Scarlet Begonias.” A cover band doing a cover of a cover? Yes, it happened.
